Welcome to my blog! I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I am going to enjoy posting! Being a first year teacher, I know I will be creating a lot of goodies to share with all of you! With that being said....it finally happened! I landed my first teaching job! It's been 5 long years since I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree (received a Master's Degree in Literacy and am almost done with a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership within that time as well), but all of my hard work has paid off! I got the phone call last week offering me the job of teaching Kindergarten at one of my old schools! I couldn't be any happier! With school starting right around the corner (September 7th for us Buffalo, NY'ers), I am running around like a mad woman trying to set up my classroom and start planning lessons for the first few weeks of school (I like to plan ahead and be organized way in advance)! It's been an exciting experience so far, and I can't wait to meet my new little kiddos!
